The Sonata da Chiesa for Organ is dedicated to the American Organist and Composer Carson P. Cooman.

The work is written as a neo-classical Trio Sonata, in an expanded tonal style. The four movements follow the typical "da Chiesa" sonata form of slow-fast-slow-fast. The Initial Arioso style of the first movement is followed by a Fugato-style Allegro. The third movement is a canon in the two manuals which is acompanied by the pedals to provide a harmonic base. The final presto is in an Italianate Concertante style to end the piece brilliantly.

La Sonate d'Eglise pour Orgue est dédiée à l'organiste et compositeur américain Carson P. Cooman.

L’œuvre est basée sur la forme d'une sonate en trio, avec une vocabulaire neo-classique et plutôt tonale. Les Quatre mouvements utilisent la forme typique d'une sonate d'église de lent-vif-lent-vif. L'intiale "Arioso" de la première mouvement est suivie par une mouvement en fugato. La troisième mouvement est un canon à la quart dans les manuels avec un support harmonique donné par les pédaliers. La finale "Presto" est dans un style "concertante" de type "italien" pour finir l'oeuvre en brillance.
