Ti-bo Rag is dedicated to Thibault Woestelandt on the occasion of his 20th Birthday. The piece is in the style of a Wiedoeft-era Tin-Pan Alley ragtime work, following the usual ABACA form.
Although classical ragtime works are usually played in slower tempi, the Tin-Pan Alley style is much more uptempo and should have a great deal of energy. In the second half of the C section (in Ab major) the piano should be allowed to predominate and the saxophone should accompany the piano.
A second version for C Melody Saxophone is published for performers looking for repertoire for this instrument. As is the usual practice, the saxophone part remains the same for both version, and the piano part is transposed to the proper key.

Ti-bo Rag est dedié à Thibault Woestelandt à l'ocassion de sa 20ème anniversaire. L'oeuvre est dans le style d'un ragtime de l'époque de Wiedoeft, utilisant la forme habituelle de ABACA.
Le Ragtime Classique est habituellement joué avec les tempi moderés, mais le style Tin-Pan Alley est plus vite et devrait avoir beaucoup d'énérgie. Dans la deuxième moitié dans la section C (en Lab majeure), le piano devrait predominer avec le saxophone jouant l'accompagnateur.
Une deuxième version pour Saxophone "C Melody" est également mise à la disposition de ceux qui cherchent des oeuvre pour cette instrument. Comme c'est la practique habituelle, la partie pour le saxophone reste inchangée et la partie du piano est transposée dans le ton du saxophone.
